Somatic Inner Child Healing

Are you a midlife woman or recovering people pleaser?

Do you feel overwhelmed, ashamed, or like you’re “too much”?

On the Love Your Life Show, I talk with Amanda Curry. She’s a somatic inner child coach who helps women—especially moms—reconnect with themselves. Amanda combines somatic practices with inner child healing.

This releases stored tension so you can become lighter and more authentic.

If you’re stuck in guilt or over-responsibility, this conversation is for you!

How Inner Child Healing Helps You:

We explore why this work isn’t just helpful—it’s life-changing. Amanda reveals how unresolved childhood wounds and nervous system dysregulation trap us in harmful patterns. These patterns hurt our relationships—with ourselves, our partners, and our kids.

She clarifies what a somatic inner child coach does. Instead of just talking, she guides clients through body-based practices like breathwork. This helps heal emotional wounds that words alone can’t reach. It’s not just about feeling better—it’s about transforming how you show up in the world.

Ever wondered how breathwork, somatic awareness, and inner child healing could improve your daily life? Dr. Amanda Curry explains how regulating your nervous system can:

  • Deepen your connection with your partner
  • Help you parent with more patience and presence

Who is Amanda Curry?

Amanda Curry is a trauma-informed Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Oncology Specialist, Training Camp for the Soul™ Master Facilitator, Breathwork Facilitator, Inner Child and Reparenting Coach

She has a passion for helping parents (moms especially) learn how to be with their own emotions so they can be present parents for their kids and eliminate reactivity that is present when overwhelm takes hold.

Through somatic tools like breathwork, use of felt sense, and inner child reparenting techniques she guides others in uncovering the root beliefs that are keeping people stuck in overwhelm and frustration with who they are and how they are showing up in the world.

Not afraid of big emotions and deep work, she is a solid space holder for the most tender parts of those she works with. She values the need to honor where people are at when they begin their journey and goes as slow as needed to bring safety and trust to those deeply held parts that have not been seen, addressed or loved for a very long time.
