Self-Worth and Feeling Good Enough
Many of us struggle with confidence and not feeling good enough. We consistently feel that we’re not good enough; like there’s always something more we should do or be. Because of our conditioning and our pasts, we look to others to help us determine if we are good enough.
This way of thinking and being leads to a lot of pleasing people, worrying about what other people think, difficulty making decisions, and ruminating on past experiences or interactions. I don’t know about you but I’m sort of sick of this behavior and this feeling. I looked to others to tell me if I was good enough for the first half of my life and finally reached a point where I said enough! Not only does this feel awful, I don’t like the model I’m setting for my kids and future generations.
Permission to Feel Worthy
As I was doing the work of self-exploration and healing, I found the amazing Amy G. Smith. She is a master at giving women permission to step into their self worth and true confidence. She is on the Love Your Life Show today to spread her wisdom on helping us break generational patterns so we can begin to feel good enough and worthy.
Listen in to hear Amy Green Smith speak about:
- The four fear responses and how they show up for us women.
- What emotional safety is and the importance of having it in relationships.
- Why it’s important to know the difference between self worth and self preservation.
