Shortening the time it takes to make a decision moves us towards living that life we want to be living. When we spend a lot of time in indecision, we feel stress, overwhelm, and mental fatigue.
That’s not what I want for you warriors.
Listen in to learn the three main factors to consider when making a decision and then let’s work together to strengthen our decision making muscle.

When we say yes to something new, we are saying no to something else.
If you’re a woman growing up in the society, that probably means you’ve been saying no to you.
The choices you’ve been making may have led you to say no to your dreams, to your goals, to your health; to your life.
Let’s change that.
Choose You this year.
Listen in to specific steps on how to choose you.
You matter to me.

We waste a lot of time getting distracted from our best lived life. Thinking we need to do what others want us to do or focusing too much on our weaknesses instead of strengthening our strengths.
We waste a lot of time avoiding our life in our thoughts and in our actions.
We think up excuses of why things are as they are. We take action that isn’t most aligned for us. Looking on facebook, drinking, organizing our desk, you name it.
Let’s stop wasting time.
In this week’s podcast episode I discuss 10 areas to look at and evaluate in order to make a plan for moving forward that’s best for you.
Listen in and then head to the shownotes at www.smbwell.com/127 to see the 10 areas for yourself.
And if you’re ready to leave the past behind and create a life you love, a life that feels good on the inside, sign up for my signature program. It’s open for a couple more days at www.SMBwell.com/bestself
Don’t miss out warrior. This is your year!
Well, here we are. At the end of a year that none of us could have ever imagined.
There were many many lessons and discoveries this past calendar year, and if I could highlight one above all it would be this: we do not have as much control over the external circumstances of our lives as we like to think we do.
Things happen around us. Quarantines, violence, elections, to name a few. 2020 reminded us that, as individuals, we have limited control over many events and outcomes in our life. This is not new. It’s just that 2020 has brought it into more acute focus than before.
As a coach intensely interested in your wellbeing and feeling state, I passionately encourage you to choose a word of the year instead of making new years resolutions.
Not only do resolutions rely on external circumstances out of our control, they focus on our short comings and our past actions.
A word of the year allows you to focus on what we do have control over (our thoughts) and is future focused. Get your free word of the year guide here: www.smbwell.com/word and listen in as I walk you through the steps to choose a word of the year.
The majority of my work and my podcasts address the internal clutter and crap that we add to our lives. The cognitive distortions, the limiting beliefs, the inner critic, the stuff happening in our brains. That’s because that is where the magic occurs. When we change how we think of things, the way we feel about those things changes. When we take control of our mind and manage the 60 to 80,000 thoughts that we think each day, we will feel less drama, less stress, and more ease. This doesn’t mean we always feel happy. It does mean that we feel more in control of our emotional experience.
A feeling of control and ease can also come from cleaning up our external environment. External stress creates internal stress. The more crap and clutter we have around, the more decisions we have to make, the more distractions we have, and the more out of control we will feel.
Listen in this week as I help you get started de-stressing your house.
Extra special bonus time too! I designed a free challenge to go along with de-stressing our house. I’d love for you to join me in 30 days of decluttering. I am challenging myself to get rid of 10 things for 30 days. If you’re listening to this real time head to www.smbwell.com/declutter grab your sheet and get started with me on November 1st. If you’re listening to this any other time, you can still do this! Any and all times are good times to declutter.

I don’t know about you but for me, I have enough things on my to do list.
In fact, I much prefer a “to don’t” list. I love learning of things that, if I stop doing them, life will feel better.
Here’s your list.
9 things happy people don’t do.
Adopt one today and feel better tonight.
